Semiconductor supplier KD provides innovative high-speed optical networking for harsh environments. Making gigabit communications over fiber optics a reality, KD technology supplies multi Gb/s optical links for automotiveindustrial, and home networks.
Founded in 2010 in Madrid, Spain, KD offer its cost-effective technology as either ASSP or IP (Intellectual Property) to be integrated in SoCs (System-on-Chips).
KD has about 75 employees, we are in full expansion due to the development of innovative products in the sector and the creation of a unique factory in Spain.
As a result, we are looking for a Test Technician. Please find below the responsibilities, profile, conditions and other details of the position:
These are your tasks:
Provide production support and other support on test engineering activities.
Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on test setup involving handler, tester, bench equipment, and hardware.
Loading and unloading the materials in the equipment and starting the production process.
Minimize downtime by quickly resolving equipment issues.
Basic repair of simple components on hardware, interface boards occasionally.
Maintain equipment logs, document troubleshooting actions, and maintenance records.
What you bring with you:
Vocational Training in Electronics or a related field.
Basic understanding of electronic principles and components.
Troubleshooting skills (hardware and test failures).
Ability to read and interpret hardware schematics and test logs.
Familiarity with data analysis.
Ability to work in a cleanroom environment, wearing appropriate protective equipment (coat, hairnet, gloves, mask, and cleanroom shoes).
Basic English communication skills are an advantage, but not required.

Proactive, problem-solving attitude with a critical and constructive mindset.
Willingness to take responsibility from implementation to testing and validation in the laboratory.
Strong attention to detail, especially when handling technical or production-related information.
