KD boosts the Spanish semiconductor ecosystem through its active participation in CHIPNATION 2025

KD participated this week in CHIPNATION 2025, the Third National Semiconductor Industry Congress, held from December 3 to 5, 2025, at the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Carlos Pardo, CEO of KD and current president of the Spanish Semiconductor Industry Association (AESEMI), organizer of the event, played an active role throughout the congress, from the opening session to the closing ceremony, also contributing his experience as a moderator in several round tables.

During the three days of congress, KD was present at stand 19, where its Sales and Marketing Director, Óscar Ciordia, and its Deputy General Director, Juan Pardo, showed attendees examples of the company’s technology for high speed optical networks in harsh environments. KD solutions enable data transmission via optical fibre in automotive, home and industrial applications, combining robustness, efficiency and an architecture ready for future generations of vehicles and connected devices.

KD participation in CHIPNATION went beyond the exhibition area. Flor Neira, Operations Director, was fully responsible for organising the session about Backend perspectives, and also took part in the round table “Perspectives on the Importance of Packaging”. Meanwhile, Iria García, Senior AMS IC Design Engineer, took part in the round table “Challenges in design a local perspective”, which formed part of the design track held on Thursday 4 December in the morning.

With this intense agenda, KD concludes its participation in CHIPNATION 2025 by reinforcing its commitment to the Spanish semiconductor ecosystem and to collaboration with customers, technology partners and public institutions. The congress offered presentations, round tables, workshops and numerous networking opportunities around the most innovative technologies in the sector, consolidating its position as a key meeting point for the professional semiconductor community in Spain.
