KD Heads to IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026 with a Live Optical Camera Demo

KD is pleased to announce its participation in IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026, where the company will showcase its latest optical connectivity technology in Hall 11, Stand F19. The event will provide an excellent opportunity to demonstrate how optical networking is becoming a key enabler for the next generation of automotive and commercial vehicle architectures.

As vehicles become increasingly connected, automated and software-defined, their data requirements continue to grow. KD’s optical connectivity solutions address these evolving needs by providing a robust and scalable foundation for high-speed in-vehicle communications, helping the automotive industry prepare for the mobility systems of the future.

A highlight of the KD stand will be a live camera demonstration developed with Leopard Imaging. The demo integrates a Corning optical connector and KD’s KD7251 automotive optical transceiver, illustrating how key technologies from across the ecosystem can work together to deliver practical, high-performance optical connectivity for advanced vehicle applications.

Visitors are invited to meet the KD team at Hall 11, Stand F19 and discover the benefits of optical connectivity firsthand. Luis Medina, Field Application Engineer; Juan Luis Matus, Customer Success Manager; and Thomas Walsh, Business Development Manager, will be attending the event to present the technology, answer questions and discuss future automotive connectivity projects.
