KD to Showcase Optical Ethernet Innovation at VECS 2026 in Gothenburg
2026-04-15 · KD
On May 5 and 6, KD will take part in VECS 2026 in Gothenburg, joining one of the leading automotive events in the Nordics. Held at The Swedish Exhibition Centre, VECS brings together OEMs, suppliers, technology companies, and mobility leaders to discuss the trends and technologies shaping the next generation of vehicles.
This year’s edition will place strong emphasis on the transition toward software defined vehicles, with a programme focused on software architectures, validation and testing, autonomy, electrification, cybersecurity, and AI powered mobility. In that context, VECS offers an ideal setting for KD to engage with industry stakeholders and continue the conversation around high speed in vehicle connectivity.
At our booth, visitors will be able to discover a 10GBASE AU optical camera system with fiber connectivity, combining the camera from Leopard Imaging, optical hybrid cable and connector system from Corning, and our KD7251 optical transceiver. The demo shows how optical Ethernet can enable high bandwidth, EMI robust communication for next generation ADAS and software defined vehicle architectures, supporting the industry’s move toward more advanced, data intensive automotive platforms.
VECS is a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas, explore new collaborations, and connect with the broader automotive ecosystem in a highly technical environment. If you are planning to attend the event, we invite you to reach out to our BDM Pablo Blázquez and Thomas Walsh, and our FAE Luis Medina Valdés and Diego Alejandro Rossi, to arrange a meeting.
We look forward to seeing you in Gothenburg!
