KD will participate as an exhibitor at the International VDI Conference Automotive Data Communication 2026, organized by VDI Wissensforum, taking place on June 23 and 24 in Stuttgart. The event will bring together leading experts across automotive Ethernet, zonal E/E architectures, synchronization, safety, and high performance communication systems, creating a key forum to discuss the future of in vehicle connectivity.

As software defined vehicles continue to evolve, system level communication is becoming a critical element of architecture design. Pablo Blázquez, Business Development Manager for Europe, will be present in the exhibition area with a live camera system demonstration developed in collaboration with Leopard Imaging and Corning. The demo features the first 10GBASE AU enabled automotive camera with optical fiber connectivity, based on the LI VENUS ISX031 BASE AU platform from Leopard Imaging and powered by KD’s KD7251 optical transceiver, combined with Corning’s automotive grade hybrid cable and connector system.

This demonstration highlights how optical communication is already becoming a practical implementation approach for high speed in vehicle connectivity. With its ability to support higher data rates while ensuring electromagnetic immunity and system robustness, optical technology is no longer a future concept but a real and growing solution in automotive architectures, paving the way for the next generation of connected and software defined vehicles.
