Taipei in Focus: KD Brings Optical Automotive Ethernet Innovation to TAIPEI AMPA & E-Mobility Taiwan 2026

2026-03-25 · KD

KD is set to take part in TAIPEI AMPA & E-Mobility Taiwan 2026, one of Asia’s key meeting points for the automotive and mobility industry. From April 14 to 17, Taipei will bring together companies and technology leaders shaping the future of transportation, with growing attention on the role of optical connectivity in next generation vehicle architectures.

Visitors to the show will be able to meet the KD team, represented on site by David Cheng and Hiro Cheng, at Stand I0403. Their presence at the event reflects KD’s commitment to supporting the rapid evolution of the automotive sector and to advancing the conversation around high performance, future ready in vehicle communications.

At the booth, KD will showcase the first 10GBASE-AU optical camera system with fiber connectivity, developed together with Leopard Imaging, featuring optical hybrid cabling from Corning and implementing the KD7251 optical transceiver. The demonstration offers a tangible example of how optical Ethernet can deliver the bandwidth, robustness, and reliability required for emerging ADAS applications and software defined vehicles.

The exhibit will also include a demo kit featuring one KD725xD board, giving visitors a closer look at the practical integration of optical technology in automotive sensing systems. As vehicles become increasingly data driven, solutions that support scalable and interference resistant data transmission are becoming essential across sensing and compute domains.

By attending TAIPEI AMPA & E-Mobility Taiwan 2026, KD continues to strengthen its visibility in the international mobility market and highlight the value of optical solutions for the automotive industry. The company looks forward to welcoming visitors to Stand I0403 in Taipei to experience the demo firsthand and connect with the team.
