EVB7251

The EVB7251 is an evaluation board for the KD7251 multigigabit transceiver.

Compliant with the IEEE Std 802.3cz™ specification for automotive multi-gigabit optical communication links over multi-mode glass optical fiber OM3.

Allows optical communication links up to 10 Gb/s.

Operates as a media converter between the optical BASE-AU port and the SFP+ module.

Typical use allows the user to plug in a standard optical SFP+ module and enjoy a media-converter functionality.

Complementary items are provided, such as optical fiber cable.

The EVB7251 along with the rest of the components provides the functional and performance evaluation capabilities requested by the automotive OEM, TIER-1, or test house, enabling product designers to successfully evaluate KD's technology and to shorten the time to market.
